Review: Arnold returned sabotage, as head of an elite DEA working group out of the drug cartels in the city of Atlanta. After the mission in a cartel safe house that leads to tens of millions of dollars in cash missing, they are taken down one by one by the cartel. Written by Skip Woods (Good Day to Die Hard, swordfish) and directed by David Ayer (End of Watch), visual style sabotage is raw and gritty and rarely celebrates his heroes as a typical Hollywood movie.Boasting wide range of hunky actors such as Sam Worthington (Avatar), Terrence Howard (Iron Man), Joe Manganiello (True Blood) with two annoying actress, presentation is by far the weakest film. Their performance elite DEA operatives, family and honor loses credibility when you see them enjoying alcohol, debauchery and Hillbilly behavior. They play their characters with a little dedication, even when they start to fall apart as the least bothered with their problems. Arnold played as a grandfather figure to the delinquent characters with ease and do not overdo the role as he usually does. It is also its differential satisfied fans as they witnessed it using various weapons like a bad-ass from his earlier films.But seriously want to sabotage what makes the show for the action. David Ayer directed em shoot a scene similar to how it was done at the end of Look and looks fantastic. Gunshots, explosions and bullets wounds feels so real; It will drop your jaw on the floor. Unlike other Gore movies like Saw and Hostel, where the grotesque nature is watchable, the film during the mutilated bodies of various victims will make your head turn. Using practical effects instead of CGI is actually true calling making action Ayer looked great in a film that otherwise does not have much going for it. |
