Review: After watching this movie, I ran away from euphoria horrible to describe. First, a few words about Matthew McConaughey. Ive always thought of it as a light in the world of cinema, sexy leading man best design for ticket sales and little else. I am happy to report that I was wrong. Unfortunately not. From the very first frame of this wonderful film, I was so impressed with his physical transformation bother my eyes only half an hour in line with weak creature I see before you. But it was really like his star performance and burns, as I look at all of the AIDS epidemic and the toll it takes on humanity as gays and heterosexuals. The film, thankfully avoiding any prior cliche? And standard treatment of the subject, it appears every other film I've seen in HIV / AIDS. Until then, I condemned the serious shortage of great film for adults, with seemingly everything is designed to be sexually immature adolescent boys engaged in nothing more than a stupid video game and idiotic superhero sequels. Like many memorable independent films, this gem was elevated to hero status with incredible acting McConaughey, in cooperation with incredible Jaret Leto, providing an excellent foil to his perfect, character-driven roles. Every single reason for the hike in the film present in great truth and humanity of this landmark effort for those looking for the best acting in abundance must-see. If there is a God in heaven, Matthew and Jaret need to win Academy Awards for best starring and Best Supporting Actor. Each actor far beyond simple action in this movie, so fully immersed in his character that they just stopped work and stood. Skip this important and moving film. |
