Review: I saw him this year at the London Film Festival and absolutely loved it.Guillermo FrightFest was there to introduce it and can tell you that this is really a movie he loves and is passionate about . He referred to it as a movie sister spine Devils. Anyway. . so begins the film and I must admit, I expected much more than a fantasy film, but it's more of a 70/30 split between film Era history / fantasy fairytale.Dont let this put you off though, the movie is truly amazing and wonderful acting. Girl wearing almost the entire film on their shoulders and do it themselves skillfully Atlas! The violence is graphic and monsters are scary, but this is probably one of the most beautiful and personal film by a director for a long time! Give it a go if you can get screening, DONT WAIT FOR THE DVD, it should really be seen on the big screen! |
