Review: As a fan of the book, I really was not sure I wanted to see this movie. Many books are hard to adapt to good movies. But my friend wanted to see it, so I agreed to come together to celebrate the premiere. I must say, as a movie, it's really nice. Sharply captivating visuals without distracting. Mold is pitch perfect - Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield, especially, did a great job. Finish is very well done (do not worry - it's really spoiled with trailer). The problem is that it's really just a cartoon book. Drama Battle School is moving too fast, the characters Peter and Valentine were almost completely absent, even Enders video game is unfortunately rare. I'm not usually a fan of splitting books in several films, but it is one where the two films that did justice. Also children are simply too old - There is an ironic moment in the film where two policemen speak as recruitment of children under 15 were illegal, but all the actors play children watch 15 or older, it is a fun ride! if you hadnt read the book of these flaws would not really be noticeable. Definitely see in the theater if you can - the battle room scenes are best for big screen. |
